Fairly recently, Activision Blizzard released a brand new mythic weapon skin for their character Ashe in Overwatch 2. Lead Rose is the name of the new elegant mythic weapon skin, and it comes with some features that normal weapons do not have. Players will be able to unlock the mythic skin through various levels with 80 prisms that are available in the Season 14 Premium Battle Pass, or players can purchase the bundle in the shop for $40.

At level one, players will be able to unlock the mythic skin without its features. At level two, players will be able to unlock the weapon reactivity and mythic hud- a rose blooms over time with each elimination a player gets, and special headshot sound effects. At level three, players will be able to unlock the rose flourish animation. Lastly, at level four, the final level to unlock,  is the kill effect, where an explosion of rose petals appears after the player has eliminated another player.

Along with the new mythic skin being released for players to purchase, Activision Blizzard also released their latest story The Pocket King featuring Stéphane Cornicard, the voice actor for their character Maximilien, a villainous Omnic accountant.

According to GoNintendo, “Secrets, lies, and betrayal are just business for Maximilien, and he’s willing to do (or say) whatever it takes to remain on top. Discover what The Pocket King has in store for you when you head to Maximilien’s Vault in the Shop.”

Along with this story being released, Activision Blizzard released Maximilien’s Vault, a shop where players will receive discounts on heroes they frequently play as. The first rotation of discounted skins is available from January 21st to January 28th according to Esports.gg, and rotations will happen every week.
