Psyonix the makers of that sporty rocket cars who kick metal balls into goals is sweeping the competitive and casual gaming world. The game is already available and sold millions on PC through the Steam Platform and on Playstation 4. Now speculation and confirmation of future available platforms is coming to light.
Gamespot has confirmed that a Taiwanese rating board has rated Rocket League for Xbox one. This is exciting news which means that it is very likely unless everything falls through that Rocket League is most definitely coming to Microsoft’s Xbox One.
“We’re looking at all kinds of platforms and there may be some announcements coming up at some point. Hopefully before the end of the year”
Although nothing is officially confirmed for Xbox it is definitly an obvious choice for developers Psyonix to further extend the games poplarity and competitive reach. Especially if the game were to come out for free like it did on the Playstation 4. Either way the price tag of $19.99 on PC is one that fans of competitive games are likely willing to shell out. Especially with updates coming all the time mostly for free with optional paid DLC which is generally just for cosmetic purposes.
Although Xbox One may be speculation at this point Rocket League is absolutely coming out for the Mac platform and Steam OS. Psyonix has even promised that this will happen by the end of the year, however they may not be able to live up to this promise as the game is no where to be seen and Pysonix has talked of licensing issues
So if you don’t have a platform you can play Rocket League on yet by early 2016 you probably will!
