Need for speed has been out for a over a week now with lots of exciting exotic cars, fast police chases, and insane speeds. The game has gotten pretty good reviews, although not great. So here’s hoping this new update improve some of the issues. Some new added features from past games included adjusting the grip and drift of the car. You also had the classic offline arcade mode that made this long running series so popular. So with that in mind some new updates to make the game more fun and fix some issues.
First you have probably the most prominent fix for the game. The complaints about the fact that AI cars and cop cars always can catch up to you says Gamespot. Now it’s going to be different and improved instead of the cars just simply catching up to you the AI will now be more realistic and will make more sense. Hopefully this will make people feel like the game is no longer cheating and gives it a more realistic feel to the racing series.
Next the entire start menu is getting an overhaul. This is to make it community centered with the inclusion of events says Gamespot. This will be some kind of daily challenge system that is going to be added. By beating whatever these are you will gain reputation points, cash, and price cuts. So there is definitely a real incentive to complete these.
Two new cars the Hoonicorn and Lamborghini Diablo will also be available with the update. New customization features like color options and decals will also be included in this update. This update will be out this Wednesday just in time for Thanksgiving gaming.
