Zombies Monsters Robots Gets Significant Update

Publisher En Masse Entertainment announced a large-scale update for their third-person PC shooter Zombies Monsters Robots. The update, “Mummy See Mummy Doom,” bestows a sextuplet of maps, all in the realms of a ghoulishly-transfigured China and Egypt. “Mummy See Mummy Doom” also contains new weapons, gear, and a competitive game mode: Blood Diamonds.

The individual maps are as follows:

Land of the Dead: Ancient Egyptian ruins, with scenery of godly lore

Mean Streets: An anarchistic urban warzone

Necrotic Necropolis: An ancient Egyptian city, overwritten by undead

Sand Trap: The Port of Rosetta, along the Nile River

Shangri-Lost: A monastery atop a mountain; overwritten by undead and inhabited by possessed terracotta wariors

Urban Sprawl: A run-down city, filled with stealth and ambush spots

The update also includes four new weapons for players to mutilate the malevolent mythical. The Anubis Bow: a crossbow that fires spread shots. Fury of Nagual: a serpentine golden LMG. Hawker ZK-1: an ancient, hawk-like, as the name would imply, SMG. Finally, Anubis ZK-107: a rifle modeled after the Egyptian god.

The game, which is predominately co-op, will feature another competitive mode, –the prior being “Mercs vs. Monsters”– called “Blood Diamonds,” with the new update. When a player is killed in Blood Diamonds, they will drop gems, which can be picked up by walking over them. The loose gems are free game for any competitor to take. Collected gems are taken to drop-off zones, where combatants are given points in accordance to the quantity of gems in tow. Players lose all held, non-deposited gems upon death. It is analogous to the Headhunter multiplayer variant from the latter titles in the popular Halo series.

A trailer for the update has been released, and is found below. For additional information, and to download Zombies Monsters Robots for free, head over to the game’s website.
