In today’s gaming landscape, 2 years of service is good, especially in a market full of live-service games. And now, 2 years later, Zenless Zone Zero continues to go strong and is officially turning 2. With this celebration comes the next patch, 3.1 “The Long Goodbye,” which will continue the 3.0 story and introduce two new agents: a void hunter and a horse thiren. Along with that, the patch will mark 2 years, so players can log in to receive a free S-rank agent and W-engine, plus 20 pulls on limited banners. Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” is set to be the biggest patch of the year, as it’s the anniversary patch, along with the story continuing to ramp up. All of this is set for July 29th for PC, PlayStation, and XBOX.
Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” is gearing up to be an emotional rollercoaster, as we’re finally going to learn more about the first-generation void hunter Remielle and how it’s possible she exists in the current time, as it’s been a century since her time. We’re also going to be learning more about Roscaelifer and the secrets hidden beneath. We’re also going to be learning more about Lady Sunbringer and the reasoning behind her split into three people and why Remielle, quote-on-quote, killed her. All in all, this patch will answer many burning questions the proxies may have about the hollows, what happened 100 years ago, and maybe how we can stop the hollows from expanding.

3.1 will be introducing 2 new limited S-rank agents, the first one being Remielle, the first-generation void hunter that’s over a century old at the current point in the story. She is an anomaly agent, so if you plan to pull her and upgrade her, you’d better start grinding for anomaly. She will be introducing a new type of DPS in the form of Lumielflux, which you can farm for when the patch goes live. She will also be bringing a new disk drive, Feathered Fate, which will be best in slot for her. And finally, her W-engine will be Ode of Resurrected Wings, which will be her best-in-slot weapon. Remielle will be running in the first half of the update alongside a rerun of Aria, an ether anomaly agent, so if you missed her and were hoping to pull her, you will be able to.

In the second phase of the 3.1 update, we will be getting the new limited S-rank ice DPS Sigrid. So if you plan to pull for her, you should be farming for both attack and ice upgrades to level up the agent once you pull her. She will also be receiving a skin in the update, which is a swimsuit, so if you want to dress her up, you will be able to. Her w-engine is called Knight’s Extolment, and it will be her best-in-slot weapon. Sigrid is running on the second phase of the update, so you will have more time to pull her if you so choose. She will also have 3 S-rank agents rerunning alongside her: Huramasa, Dialyn, and Yuzuha, so if you missed any of the three, you can pull for them as well.

Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” is not just a new patch. It’s also the anniversary patch celebrating 2 years of Zenless Zone Zero. So, with an anniversary patch, proxies can expect lots of content and goods, such as four new skins: two for new S-rank agent Remielle, one for new S-rank agent Sigrid, and the last one will be free during the event and will be for A-rank agent Lucy. Proxies will also be able to log in during the patch and receive 20 free pulls and two free tickets, allowing you to choose 1 of 5 free limited S-rank agents: Trigger, Hugo, S-rank Anby, and Lucia. The second ticket will be for a free W-engine corresponding to the free S-rank agent. Proxies will also be able to customize the search function by adding three new agents: Yanagi, Zhu Yuan, and Cesar King. Three agents will also be receiving buffs so you can continue to enjoy and use them in endgame content: Jane Doe, Nekomata, and Rina.
Zenless Zone Zero is now 2 years old, so Happy Birthday, Zenless Zone Zero– to many more years. Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 “The Long Goodbye” is set for July 29th on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Mobile, so make sure not to miss it, as this is going to be the biggest patch and celebration for the game yet. And remember, Proxy, heed the Hollows’ call.
