Today, Nintendo announced on Twitter that Nintendo Switch players can now see their gaming stats for their annual year in review. Players who are subscribed to receive emails from Nintendo can see a short summary of their gaming stats via an email sent out today. However, if you want to check out your full gaming stats in a more cinematic viewing experience, you will need to log in to your Nintendo Account online. Once you log in, a personalized slideshow of your gaming stats will play on the screen. You have the option to let your stats automatically play out to experience an interactive slideshow, or you can manually jump to specific parts within the slideshow.
There are ten different segments within the slideshow, where you can see your monthly activity, preferred play modes, your most active day that you played on the Nintendo Switch, and more. Towards the end of your slideshow, you have the option to pick your favorite game out of all the games you have played this year. If you choose to share your pick, you can download an image that shows your favorite game choice and share it on social media using the hashtag #NintendoSwitch2021. Ending the slideshow are a few game suggestions picked by Nintendo based on your gaming history, along with some upcoming and anticipated games to look out for in 2022. As a nice treat, you can also download a free wallpaper that shows a timeline of some iconic Nintendo consoles, starting from the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1983 to the Nintendo Switch OLED Model in 2021, shown below.
