Xbox Cloud Gaming Coming To Logitech’s G CLOUD Gaming Handheld

Cloud gaming has slowly become a popular avenue for video game releases and with the popularity of products like Xbox Cloud Gaming, Microsoft is seeking new ways in broadening its audience of the service. Yesterday, Microsoft announced its latest adventure in furthering Xbox Cloud Gaming’s reach. The Logitech G CLOUD Gaming Handheld, Logitechs newest advent into handheld gaming, will be optimized to handle the extensive Xbox Cloud Gaming library.

The Logitech G CLOUD Handhelds offer players a touch-screen with 16:9 full-screen display, built-in Wi-Fi, extended battery life up to 23.1 hours , Bluetooth and ergonomic controls. The Logitech G CLOUD will allow users to “…progress through campaigns or get online for a multiplayer session where it’s most convenient to you.”

Getting started is as simple as booting up the Logitech G CLOUD. On the home screen users can access Xbox Cloud Gaming through a pinned shortcut. Through that shortcut, users can access hundreds of high-quality titles under the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, including new games on day one from Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda, including other titles from third-party partnerships such as, The GunkPowerWash Simulator, and Tunic. Users who don’t have access to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can play games like Fortnite for free.

The Logitech G CLOUD also gives its users access to a Remote Play feature, which is also pinned in the home screen. Remote Play allows users to access titles beyond the ones in the Xbox Game Pass, giving users access to their full Xbox library. Users who have accessed Remote Play from phones, tablets can now use the feature on handhelds. However, Remote Play isn’t only limited to Xbox. Remote Play can also give users access to your full Steam library as well.

People will be able to access Xbox Cloud Gaming on the handheld right away when it releases on October 27, 2022.
