Today, the team at Xbox announced that they are ready to show what next-gen gameplay running on Xbox Series X will look like. This comes shortly after Phil Spencer teased that they were ready to show games when answering a question on Twitter. The first look at Xbox Series X gameplay is coming on May 7, 2020, at 11 AM ET/ 8 AM PT.
For those wanting to see some of Xbox’s first-party games such as Halo Infinite, it looks you’ll have to wait a little longer, but not too long as Aaron Greenburg, GM, Xbox Games Marketing at Microsoft says that there are big plans for Summer.
While we’ll have to wait and see what games will be shown off, we are aware of one as Ubisoft shared story and gameplay on the next Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla with a cinematic trailer. Ubisoft revealed that the game will be a part of Inside Xbox where everyone will get the chance to see actual gameplay for the first time.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is also set to utilize one of Xbox Series X’s newest features for next-gen called Smart Delivery. It’s a feature that makes it so you only have to buy the game once, and you’ll be able to access it across multiple systems. For example, if you buy the game for Xbox One and eventually get Xbox Series X, you won’t have to buy the game again.
