X018: Xbox Game Pass Adds 16 New Games

At X018, Microsoft made several new and exciting announcements. The first one was the reveal that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is coming to Xbox Game Pass, but it wouldn’t be the only one. Microsoft revealed that Xbox Game Pass will add 16 new titles to their catalog.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will be available for Game Pass on November 12, and on November 22, Xbox Game Pass will also receive Agents Of Mayhem, MXGP3, and Thomas Was Alone. Microsoft also announced that the new game, Thief Of Thieves, is available on Xbox and the Game Pass during X018  on November 10. In addition to games coming in November, Microsoft went beyond and announced games that’ll be available for download in December.

December will see the Xbox Game Pass getting unique gaming experiences such as Kingdom Two Crowns, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, and Ori And The Blind Forest. Microsoft confirmed that the sequel to Ori And The Blind Forest, Ori And The Will Of The Wisps, will be available in Xbox Game Pass when it releases in 2019. In addition to these titles, Microsoft revealed that some independent games from the ID@Xbox program are going to be available for Xbox Game Pass when they release as well. This holiday will bring Aftercharge, Supermarket Shriek, Mutant Year Zero, Pathologic 2, The Good Life, Void Bastards, and Secret Neighbor.

In celebration of X018 and the upcoming holiday season, Microsoft revealed a limited time deal to sign up for Xbox Game Pass and receive the first month for a dollar. Lastly, Microsoft announced that the Xbox Game Pass mobile app is officially available on iOS and Android. The app allows you to discover and download the catalog seamlessly. To make this work, players have to set their consoles to “Instant On” and enable remote installations. During X018, Microsoft made some more announcements and revealed new trailers. A new Kingdom Hearts III trailer was shown as well as new footage of Crackdown 3. A new mode in Sea Of Thieves called The Arena was revealed and Microsoft officially announced it has acquired two new studios.
