Sony Santa Monica, the studio that brought gamers the critically acclaimed God of War series, has been mum on its next project. Thanks to the keen eyes of Dualshockers, we may have our first lead as to what they’re currently working on.
Two job postings on Sony Computer Entertainment America’s career page are directed at Santa Monica studios.
The first job is listed under the title Lead Concept Artist and is looking for someone to take control “of a critical project from early stage exploration through to final release.”
The second job is for a Senior Level Designer for “an unannounced title.”
The last game Sony Santa Monica developed internally was this years God of War: Ascension, which by its predecessors lofty standards could be deemed a disappointment.
As we have mentioned before, it’s common for studios to have two games in development at one time. If this is indeed the case – which it likely is – then one could assume the God of War: Ascension team has now moved over to the studios “critical project,” whatever that may be.
Don’t expect any hints either. Game Director of God of War: Ascension, Todd Papy, was asked about his next project.
@Hammad_KK Can't talk about projects until they are announced. Sorry

Could we be hearing from Kratos again soon? Or is Sony Santa Monica working on something different?
