In Yuki, players take on the role of the titular Yuki, and delve deep into her imagination by guiding her action figure through multidimensional worlds. The game has players move the character by using their hands, capturing the feeling of being a kid playing with their toys. Players will have to dodge obstacles and bullets, while also blasting enemies known as Yokaliens. Along the way players will collect power-ups that provide different strategies for getting through each level. Players will have to learn to get into a smooth rhythm of dodging bullets and obstacles, and collecting power-ups in order to make it through each level. Yuki contains a persistent progression system that allows players to unlock new charms, weapons, and abilities that can be used to permanently upgrade their character, and perform better each run. Fans of bullet hell games, and on rails shooters such as Starfox should definitely give Yuki a look.
Yuki will release later this summer on Oculus Quest, Oculus Quest 2, and all Steam VR platforms. A PSVR version of the game is currently set to release later this year. Those who are interested in the game are currently able to wishlist it on Steam in order to be notified when the game finally releases.
