Void Interactive And Team 17 Partner To Bring Ready Or Not To Early Access

Today game publisher Team17 has signed a new partnership with developer Void Interactive that will have Void’s new upcoming game Ready Or Not release under their label. Team17, for those unaware, is the same indie game publisher that has published games such as The Escapists, Golf With Your Friends, and Overcooked 2. This new partnership will help bring Ready Or Not to Steam Early Access in the near future. Ready Or Not is a tactical first-person shooter, where players take on the role of SWAT police units who must diffuse a number of hostile situations.

In Ready Or Not players will work together to plan out missions and execute them as tactfully and smoothly as possible. Before each mission, players are able to go over floor plans and mission briefing in order to form strategies. There are also plenty of options for customization, with different equipment and attachments available with their own pros and cons, adding to the strategic planning needed before each mission. Ready Or Not promises to give players a high level of control through a deep and involved player maneuvering system.

Additionally, the game’s controls are supposed to be simple and organic, meaning players will not need to remember numerous hotkeys and bindings. The game’s main modes are based around cooperative and competitive multiplayer, however, players are also able to command AI-driven teammates during the solo campaign. Fans of similar tactical shooters such as Rainbow Six Siege, and Payday, may want to keep an eye out for Ready Or Not.

Ready Or Not is currently available for preorder on the Void Interactive Site. There are currently two different preorder packages available: the first being the Standard package that includes the full game and beta access sometime in June, and the Supporter package which includes everything from standard as well as access to the current alpha build, the first expansion when it releases, and other bonuses like having your name in the credits. The standard package is available at the discounted pre-sale price of $39.99, and the Supporter package is available for $119.99. Those who are interested are also able to wishlist the game on Steam in order to be notified when the game finally releases.
