Square Enix has announced a new entry in the long running Mana series, Visions Of Mana. This is the first mainline Mana title in over 15 years ago, that being Heroes Of Mana and as you can imagine fans are very much excited. This comes after Square Enix filed for the Mana trademark in Europe, Japan, and Australia back in november 30th. The game is set to release on 2024 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. Another major surprise is that the title will be not releasing on Switch despite the game looking like a perfect fit. Visions Of Mana looks beautiful and stunning and it looks like it could be one of the cozier releases of 2024.
“The development team have been working hard to ensure that Visions of Mana remains faithful to the series that players know and love while also offering fans and newcomers a fresh new experience with an all-new story, characters, and gameplay mechanics. We cannot wait to share more details about the game with you soon.” – Masaru Oyamada
The game will follow a brand new protagonist named Val, a soul guard who has been assigned to protect his best friend. who has been chosen by the Faerie as the Alm of Fire to travel to the Tree of Mana and rejuvenate the mana flow. Its incredible to consider that the Mana series began as a Final Fantasy Spin off and has now been running for as long as it has. Visions Of Mana looks like its going to be a new beginning for the series moving forward.
Arise and face the new dawn: a new adventure awaits.
