Vampire Survivors Wins Best Game At The 2023 BAFTA Games Awards

Today, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts revealed the winners of the 2023 BAFTA Game Awards. The awards celebrate the very best in gaming of the past year and the people who made them, and showcase wide range of storytelling and creative excellence from the UK and worldwide. This year, God of War Ragnarok led this year’s selection of 45 games nominees with 14, which makes Ragnarok the most nominated game ever at the BAFTA Game Awards. In total, God of War Ragnarok won 6 awards. Vampire Survivors won two awards, including taking home the highest honor, Best Game. Elden Ring and Tunic also took home two awards. Rollerdrom won the BAFTA for British Game. Shuhei Yoshida received the BAFTA Fellowship.

The Fellowship presented to Yoshida is the highest accolade given by BAFTA in recognition of an individual’s outstanding and exceptional contribution to film, games, or television across their career.]
