If Valorant players are upset that they missed the original Neo Frontier drop back in 2023, they are in luck. On July 27, 2026, the official Valorant YouTube channel released a teaser trailer, announcing the return of Neo Frontier skins and weapons, and released the drop soon after. This throwback drop features the return of three weapons from the original collection, as well as three new weapons.
The Sheriff, Marshal, and Phantom weapons are making a comeback, though Neo Frontier Axe and The Odin will not be included. None of these weapons appear to have been given major updates, and their functions are still the same as the original drop. The core difference is that these items will be available to purchase until the drop event is over, rather than wait for it to appear in the randomized daily shop. Neo Frontier 2.0 does not have an official end date, but it is suspected to conclude in mid August after two weeks.
Using the Sheriff, players are able to eliminate opponents in a singular headshot from up to fifty meters away. If they end up with a shot to the opponent’s body or legs, it takes two and three bullets to kill, respectively. If players would like to purchase this weapon, it will run them 2715 Valorant Points (VP), which translates to roughly $28 USD.
Both the Neo Frontier Marshal and Neo Frontier Phantom weapons are not functionally different from their standard edition counterparts, but they do come with some wild west themed gimmicks. Players are able to hold the inspect key to spin the weapon, and a kill triggers a brief wanted poster animation to begin. This is among other new changes depending on upgrade level. Both weapons are each the same price as the Sheriff, at 2715 VP.
Two of the three new weapons, the Shorty and Vandal, received similar upgrades to the Marshal and Phantom for Neo Frontier 2.0. The Shorty is most similar to the Marshal, and the Vandal to the Phantom, in regards to this drop. The price is identical to the throwback drops, at 2715 VP a pop.
The Lasso Melee, however, appears to be the stand-out of this drop. While a Melee is typically a knife, default assigned to all users, the Lasso Melee is the first weapon to take the form of a rope. Players should expect to pay a premium for this item, as it is priced at 4350 VP, or $45 USD.
Fans of Neo Frontier should also keep an eye out for two exclusive player cards and a V26 spray, each included in a weapon bundle, but also available for individual purchase. Bundles are available in either basic or mega, with the basic Neo Frontier 2.0 Bundle costing about 6700 VP ($65 USD). This bundle includes the new additions, but not the legacy weapons. The Run It Back: Neo Frontier Mega Bundle, on the other hand, includes everything featured in the drop, for a reduced cost of 9310 VP (∼$88 USD).
