Here’s the trailer for Ubisoft’s Valiant Hearts: The Great War, a puzzle/adventure game set during WWI, the world war with probably the best puzzles. The game is inspired by letters written during the Great War and centers on four strangers entering the battlefield to help a young, German soldier, find his love in a story about survival, sacrifice, and friendship.
Valiant Hearts is published by Ubisoft but was developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, the same developers of the highly successful Rayman Origins and its sequel, Rayman Legends. The game is even powered by UbiArt Framework, the same in-house engine used for the Rayman reboots. So we’re expecting a more cheerful depiction of the horrors of war.
