Unknown Worlds, the developer of the hit game franchise Subnautica, is currently working on the newest game in the franchise and is hiring for jobs to help develop the game. This search comes after the developer said they were searching for a Lead Programmer this past February to help the development of the game.
Unknown Worlds has now announced that they are currently searching for Senior Narrative Designer. Additionally, the company is also looking to fill other jobs that can help with the game. These positions include a Graphics Engineer, Quality Assurance Lead, Senior 3D Environment Artist, Senior Systems Programmer, and a Senior Technical Artist. The most recent Subnautica release was Subnautica: Below Zero which came out in January of 2019 for early access. After two years, the game was officially released to the public on May 14, 2021. Prior to that, the original Subnautica game was released back in 2018 and was a hit among fans.
Subnautica is an open-world survival game set on Planet 4546B. The goal of the game is to explore the world and survive the different alien creatures. Players can collect materials from around them to help assist them in making tools and other items to survive in the world.
Although the newest game in the franchise does not have a release date or time frame, it will likely not be released for a while since it is still in the early stages of development. As the game continues to grow in popularity, Unknown Worlds will surely capitalize on the positive reviews the franchise has received.
