Originally intended to be released on Friday, it appears Santa came early–and by Santa, I mean Naughty Dog (I guess Sony is the sleigh in this metaphor). Uncharted 4’s multiplayer Beta will ready to play tomorrow, Dec. 3rd, at 9AM. Paired alongside their Black Friday promotion with the PS4, the access to the Beta is available to those lucky fans who purchased The Nathan Drake Collection, which came accompanied with a code for the upcoming multiplayer treat. Both Sony and Naughty Dog saw great success in their sales this weekend, apparently spiking in sales by 999%.
The Beta will run from Dec. 3rd until the 13th, at which point it is speculated whether or not it will receive an expansion, or perhaps open to the public. If you are lucky enough to own a Beta code, gear up and clear some space–before you can join Nathan and company, there is a semi-steep price to pay. Uncharted 4 Beta needs roughly 7 GB to run (I can already hear the distant groans of distress as some of you ponder over what to sacrifice).
Naughty Dog has also gifted fans with their detailed Twitch stream, giving meticulous overview of Uncharted’s multiplayer. Uncharted 4 will be available in its entirety on March 18th of next year for the PS4. If you can’t wait until then to get your hands on more treasure hunting adventures, you can always saddle up with The Nathan Drake Collection and make good on the Beta code offered inside–or start your journey with Nathan Drake all over again.
