Ubisoft Releases New Mobile Game: Invincible

Ubisoft released a new game called Invincible: Guarding the Globe. The mobile game is out on Android, IOS, and Amazon Games. The game is in connection with the Amazon Prime show called Invincible and takes place in the same world. “In this all-new narrative, players will become an agent of the Global Defense Agency, deploying heroes to defend the world against villainy, clones, and… burger meat theft?” Ubisoft said in a recent post. Invincible was a comic book turned into a show which now turned into the game. The show is produced by Skybound Entertainment the same people who produced The Walking Dead.

Invincible: Guarding the Globe includes notable characters from the show Atom Eve, Invincible, Omni-Man, and more. Invincible: Guarding the Globe is an idle role-playing game that allows players to run multiple battles at once and while they are not on there. Players join the Global Defense Agency and work with the head of GDA Cecil Stedman. The overall narrative will be played out in different chapters. This narrative is different than the one in the show. On top of this players will be able to work towards new objectives each week.

Players take on various enemies including Flaxans, Reanimen, and Magmanites by building up a team. These teams consist of five superheroes who can equip up to four different gear items and one artifact. These items have buffs and be upgraded to be even more powerful. Players can purchase these using in-game currency and can purchase it at Cecil’s Recruitment Department or Sinclair’s Lab. This same currency can also be used to recruit new heroes as well. The other way players can earn gear items and artifacts is through the main mission, weekly objectives, and in-game events.

Invincible: Guarding the Globe brings the world of the TV show Invincible to fan’s mobile devices. The game is available worldwide.
