Earlier today gaming publisher Ubisoft announced that it is working to develop a brand new theme park inspired by their wide library of video game franchises. Comingsoon.net reports that Ubisoft will be combining world-renowned brands and expertise in designing highly-interactive gaming experiences. The theme park project is being led by Ubisoft’s Motion Picture division, which, according to Comingsoon.net, has some success in branching out game brands to theme parks with the launch of Rabbids Dark Ride at the French Theme Park Futuroscope.
To get this theme park off the ground Ubisoft Motion Pictures is partnering with RSG, co-owner and co-developer of Movie Animation Park Studios. Senior Vice President of Ubisoft Motion Pictures, Jean de Rivières has stated:

The theme park is being planned as a 10,ooo square meter park and will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The park will feature rides, attractions based on some of Ubisoft’s biggest franchises including:
