The top game on Apple Arcade this week has just been released by Zen Studios. In Zen Pinball Party, there are twelve tables for players to try out with promises of more to come in the future. Three Dreamworks movie-themed tables are available for the kids: How to Train Your Dragon, Kung Fu Panda, and Trolls as well as a Hasbro My Little Pony-themed table. Then there are some more traditional Bally/Williams-themed tables for adults: Theatre of Magic, Attack from Mars, and Medieval Madness. Other themes include Wild West Rampage, CastleStorm, and Adventure Land, Son of Zues, and Getaway: Highspeed.
The game uses the latest technology in physics to create an extremely accurate pinball simulator. The Multiplayer aspect allows players to compete for the highest score. It is available to download on all Apple devices on the Apple Arcade with the option to play with a controller. The art style of the game is similar to old-time pinball games, with echoing, clunky sounds, and bright flashing colors.
Second on the list of top Apple Arcade games is Masterchef: Let’s Cook, developed by Masterchef Game. In this game, players are able to participate in a cooking competition by competing against other computer-generated chefs as if they were in the actual Masterchef competition. First, players choose which dish to make by picking the ingredients they want to use. Then they make the dish by completing small tasks, such as chopping, baking and plating. The quality of the dish depends on how quickly and how accurately the player is able to complete each minigame task. Better dishes will be awarded more stars, and the player with the most stars by the end of the game wins that round. You are able to customize your chef and dress them in the clothing you unlock. Players are also able to unlock new kitchen utensils that give an advantage in the kitchen.
The MasterChef team is working hard to give all our plates that extra shine. They stepped back from the ovens just long enough to give us this video to share with all of you.
