Trover Saves The Universe To Receive Nintendo Switch And Xbox One Release

Fans of the Rick And Morty series might be happy to hear that the comedic adventure Trover Saves The Universe is getting a release on the Nintendo Switch and the Xbox One. According to IGN, the Nintendo Switch version will release at the tail end of  November and the Xbox One version will release at the beginning of December. Gamers looking forward to playing this game might also be happy to hear that these versions will receive a 20% launch discount, bringing the game’s pricing down to approximately $24.00.

Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the game and stated that “We love this IP and we’re really excited that gamers from all sides of the gaming sphere can finally play it,”. He also revealed that the new versions would come along with some additional DLC. The DLC will include several new characters, the Cosmic Jobs DLC, some original comedy sketches, the Space Slam arcade game-within-the-game and much more. When asked whether Trover Saves The Universe would be the most profane game on the Nintendo Switch, he stated, “The most profane maybe. Not sure about the most profound [laughs]. The game has a funny and engaging story but the moment-to-moment dialogue is very loose by choice. Lots of people have said the game plays like a long sci-fi interdimensional cable show (from Rick and Morty) and I take that as a compliment.”

The already released PC and PlayStation 4 versions are also receiving a 30% discount starting today meaning that fans of Justin Roiland’s work can purchase the games for as little as $21 right now. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will be released next week on November 28th and the Xbox One version of the game will be releasing on December 3rd. Not much more is known about these new versions at the moment but more information will likely be released at a later date.
