Travel To Marrakesh In Hitman’s Next Episode, Coming May 31st

First Paris, then Sapienza, Italy, now Marrakesh, Morocco Agent 47’s assassination world tour continues May 31st, next Tuesday, with episode three.

IO Interactive’s Community Manager Travis Barbour wrote a post for the PlayStation Blog talking about the latest installment.

After the glitz and glamor of the Paris fashion show and the sunny beaches of Sapineza the next episode will take players to a more closed in environment. From there the level opens up and players can explore the modern Swedish Consulate Building (pictured above) and hunt for their target.

Marrakesh has been built with a maze of alleys, a range of souks that line the medina walls, and a fully fletched shisha café. Moving upwards, players can enjoy the shade on the signature rooftop terraces of Marrakesh.

But the area is only as good as the mission in it and Barbour says that “Guilded Cage” will have all of the voyeuristic fun and infiltration that fans have come to expect from the Hitman series. The mission, should you choose to accept it, will task players with eliminating two targets: Claus Strandberg, a banker hiding in the Swedish Consulate Building and the General Reza Zaydan who is in the heart of the city, protected by his elite guards.

As always, how the player will deal with the target is up to them, but IO did add in some creative methods of offing their targets should they want to seek them out.

As Barbour says, this latest episode is designed to keep players busy for a long time so challenges, Contacts Mode,  Elusive Targets and Escalation Contracts are back as well.

Hitman Episode 3 will be out on May 31st for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The episode will cost $9.99 or free if you picked up the “Full Experience” version of the game.

So far three of the seven episodes have been released and going off of IO and Square Enix’s current schedule the next episode should be out sometime next month.
