A new trailer has been released for an upcoming game titled Primal Planet. In the trailer it was announced that the release date for Primal Planet is July 28, 2025. The game is being developed by Seethingswarms and will be published by Pretty Soon. Primal Planet is set to release on consoles such as the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, along with PC. Primal Planet is described as a story rich, action-adventure, co-op game. It is said to follow a heartbreaking story that involves a family, dinosaurs, and UFOs. Going into more detail on the gameplay and plot of Primal Planet, Pretty Soon said:

Craft, upgrade, and survive in a realm of primeval predators, savage tribes and… ancient aliens.

When watching the trailer, it is very noticeable that the style of the game will be a 2D platform. The trailer begins with what looks like the family that was given in the game’s description, and they are traversing through the jungle. In terms of gameplay, we can see that players will be able to fight off dinosaurs using weapons such as bow and arrows, and players will be able to swim in certain sections of the game. It also looks like gaining family love will be part of the XP point system, as when the family had a hug in the trailer, players gained XP. At the end of the trailer the ancient aliens appeared, and they came across as potentially the main villains of the story Seethingswarms are telling. When it comes to reactions from gamers on social media, most that saw this trailer are now looking forward to the game’s release, and fortunately for them, they will get to play Primal Planet in less than a month.
