A new trailer has been released for an upcoming game titled I Hate This Place. It was gameplay trailer, so this is the first real chance for viewers to get to see what playing the game would be like. I Hate This Place is set to be released in 2025, though a specific date is yet to be revealed to the public. The game will be released on consoles such as the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S. I Hate This Place will also be available for PC gamers through Steam. I Hate This Place is being developed by Rock Square Thunder and it is being published by Broken Mirror Games. This is set to be the second game developed by Rock Square Thunder, as the first game they released was The Lightbringer. Looking closer at the game itself, I Hate This Place is described as an action-adventure, stealth, comic book, survival horror. Going into more detail on I Hate This Place, Broken Mirror Games said:
Scavenge and build to survive terrifying days and nights while using stealth and noise to fight enemies that stalk by sound.
Right at the beginning of the trailer, the comic book and horror atmosphere can be seen, based on both the graphics and the player fighting off monsters. The weapons customization was shown off, with players being able to use a workbench to craft them. Also in the trailer, it looks like the dialogue will be a mixture of audio and text, as the trailer included the main character explaining the story, while some of the gameplay featured speech bubbles. The sound aspect of the monsters was also displayed, with players able to trick them by throwing items in a different direction.
