A trailer has been released for an upcoming game titled Frostliner. It was an announcement trailer, so this is the first look viewers have gotten for the game. Frostliner has been given a release year of 2026, though a specific date or time frame within the year is yet to be revealed. The game is being developed and published by the same person, Nathan Gane. This appears to be the debut project for Nathan Gane, as it is the only game listed on the developers Steam page. Frostliner also seems to be only coming to PC, as there is no signs pointing to the game coming to consoles such as the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, or the Nintendo Switch. Looking closer at the game itself, Frostliner is described as a post-apocalyptic, resource management, city builder, and its story begins with a shattered moon causing the earth to freeze. Going into more detail on the plot of Frostliner, Nathan Gane said:
Your only hope is to traverse the network of rails in your Frostliner, a massive train designed to endure the harsh environment and adapt to the needs of its passengers.

In the start of the trailer, we get to see the customization options players will get when it comes to the train. These options include where to place armour, beds, and first aid stations, among other things. Viewers also got to see the train from different angles, navigating through different environments, including over frozen lakes, and in woods. Another gameplay feature displayed during the trailer was a survival choice mechanic, asking the player how they would want to handle a food shortage. It will be interesting to see if, and how this mechanic will be used for other survival situations in-game.
