The launch date for Tower of Fantasy’s latest collaboration with the iconic Evangellion franchise is here. For a limited time, players will be able to play as the iconic EVA-00 pilot Rei as a simulacrum.
According to the press release, Rei is classified as a Frost-Volt simulacrum. She wields the Salvation, a unique prototype bow that fires energy arrows, and tailor made for her by the Mirroria Department of Science and Technology.
Tower of Fantasy‘s collaboration with Evangellion was announced in late January 2024. In addition to introducing unique items and vehicles inspired from the influential 90s anime players also have the opportunity of using simulacra of the series other popular character Asuka Shikinami Langley.
Players will get the chance to play as Rein when the collaboration launches next week on March 28. Tower of Fantasy is playable on PlayStation 5, Android, PlayStation 4, iOS, GeForce Now, and PC via Steam.
