All video game players are guilty of rage quitting, which is quitting a game after dying a near infinite amount of times to a really strong boss or repeatedly failing a super hard mission. Most of the time, this is done during a regular campaign, but one of top fighters in For Honor has been accused of rage quitting so that he can keep his top rating on the game’s leaderboard.
Ironically named CosmicSwordsman plays for the Orochi class, has killed 5,384, has died only four times and has lost only one match.
According to other For Honor players who have had the opportunity to play against him, CosmicSwordsman quits games that he or she believes that he or she will lose. The players say that when CosmicSwordsman dies, he or she leaves the game. Doing that allows CosmicSwordsman to keep his or her kill/death ratio in the top 0.1% percentile. For a game that is about fighting for one’s honor, CosmicSwordsman supposedly isn’t doing a very good job at being honorable.
As you can see in the image above, he is among the top 0.1% in multiple categories, which would be impressive if it isn’t true that CosmicSwordsman is manipulating the leader board in order to appear better than he or she actually is. For all we know, CosmicSwordsman could play to the level the statistics say he or she does, but will multiple players calling CosmicSwordsman out for cheating, it’s hard to know how accurate those statistics are.
Players have been calling for CosmicSwordsman to be ban for months. For now, all he or she cannot do is comment on the game’s reddit. CosmicSwordsman has defending his or her self, simply stating that he or she is very good at the game, but the following image showing the amount of times he’s quit might tell otherwise.
