Too Small To Fight: Terminus: Day Zero Official Announcement Trailer

Games based off the zombie apocalypse have their own way to strike fear into our hearts; between jumpscares, body horror, and the thought of what we would do if we were in that situation, the zombie genre is one that is sure to make you feel some sort of dread. In every piece of zombie media, the story of an outbreak is told and how people are surviving now, but they are mostly always adults. Adults who have an understanding of what is going on to some capacity, and who are physically able to fight their way past the undead and gather supplies to continue on.

Terminus: Day Zero proposes a scary, but realistic, question: what would a little girl do during a zombie outbreak?

Daisy was home alone at the start of it all, asleep comfortably in her bed. When she awakes, she calls to her parents to no avail and finds out soon after something isn’t right when odd looking people stumble into her home. Not understanding the situation, she only knows the faces of the people she once knew aren’t right anymore–they’re decaying and chasing after her with a desperation that triggers a primal fear within her.

Being too small to fight, her only option is to hide, and lucky for her she knows the best hiding places in the neighborhood. Hiding under cars and in small spaces can only last so long, though. Eventually, the undead will start closing in and she is faced with the difficult decision of waiting for her parents or running to save herself.

The entire time, Daisy is understandably terrified. She isn’t a soldier, she isn’t an adult, she doesn’t have a plan, all she knows is there is something wrong with the people outside. She iis going to rely on you to aid her as someone who knows better, “Help Daisy get through the longest day of her life.”
