If you are a Skateboarding fan, then you’re going to flip once you hear that the return of the famous Skateboarding game is back and better than ever. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 is having its grand returned this time both being remastered. The Birdman himself, Tony Hawk, and Vicarious Visions, the studio that revamped the popular Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, has come together to brings back the first two incredible games back.
Fans of the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 will still see in the remastered all the original levels, witness other pro-skaters, get to try old-school tricks from the 90s and 2000s where players will view the newly beautiful renewed levels. The remaster will also have popular blockbuster songs from the original franchise.
Jen Oneal, who is the Studio Head at Vicarious Visions, made a statement saying, “Getting the chance to bring back the original two games which had such a meaningful impact not only on gaming, but on an entire sports genre, has been an epic experience for our team, many of whom worked on the original series. We’re taking what you knew and loved from the original games and mixing that with enhanced creative tools which will allow gamers to invent brand new ways to play the game they love. We’re confident it will be the ultimate Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater experience fans have been asking for.”
Players will also get to play their favorite features from the games through the entire original franchise, this will include revert, lip tricks, wall plant, and original multiplayer game modes which will both be online and for some local couch play as well. Also fans favorite Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater is making its return to the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater game. With the new Create-A-Park update, players can now be able to share their parks online with fellow skater friends and will be given the option to customize their skater’s outfits. But fans will have the option to even play with their all-time favorite pro skaters like Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Elissa Stream, Rune Glifberg, Kareem Campbell, and many more.
To continue on with the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 remaster celebration, Activision teamed up with Jack Black on his YouTube channel, @JablinskiGames, to give fans the first look of the gameplay at the iconic Warehouse level. Fans can see Tony Hawk and Jack Black give out hilarious commentary and banter while player the level. Fans who preorder the game on PlayStation, Xbox or PC will get access to the Warehouse Demo early before the official launch.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 will make it long awaited remastered game will drop on September 4, 2020. The amazing package will be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4 Pro, the family of Xbox One devices from Microsoft, including the Xbox One X, and PC through the Epic platform.
