During EA’s E3 press conference today, they released two new trailers for Titanfall 2 one for multiplayer and one for a new single player mode for the Titanfall franchise. During the press conference the designers said that they wanted to make a single player campaign so that the gamers could understand the bond between the users and the Titans better, and to allow the players to explore the Titanfall world. From the single player trailer it seems that in the world Titans and their pilots have a strong bond between them that allows them to function very well as a team. This is apparent in the idea that a Titan is synced to a particular pilot and can only change when the pilot dies. If you missed the trailer check it out below.
This new multiplayer adds a lot of new looking toys and Titans to the mix making the multiplayer seem more fresh and pleasing to the audience. Each new Titan will have a particular ability to it allowing the player to choose to use a different Titan for different play styles or maps. Some of this gameplay reminds me of Call of Duty Black Ops 3 with its wall running mechanics and fast paced action. If you also missed this trailer check it out below.
All these trailers show great promise for the game in the future. But the key detail that got my interest is that for the first time Playstation will be getting a Titanfall game! This will increase the amount of users possible to play this game series which could increase its longevity to more than its predecessor.
