Fable 4 is seeing another game developer assisting in its development. Joining Playground Games, Fable 4’s main developer, is the independent UK-based studio Third Kind Games. The revelation was found under the projects page in Third Kind Games’ website.
Prior to Fable 4, the studio has worked on various popular games including Hearthstone, Forza Horizon 4, and Predecessor, an upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter (FPS) and multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game.
While it’s unknown what exact role Third Kind Games is playing in Fable 4′s development, considering they helped bring Sea of Thieves to PlayStation consoles, this could allude to a possible future PlayStation 5 release.

Initially revealed in 2020, Fable is the upcoming reboot of an iconic Xbox action role-playing game franchise. Currently, not much information on the game’s plot or gameplay is known. But if it’s anything like it’s predecessors, players can expect the similar whimsical British humor dotting a fantastical open medieval world.
More information will likely be available sometime this year, so those that are interested should head over to the official Fable website and social media channels.
That said, whenever it releases, fans can expect to play the game exclusively on the Xbox X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass when it launches.
