The deadly and iconic xenomorph from the classic horror franchise Alien, has found new prey in Dead By Daylight’s latest chapter Dead By Daylight: Alien. The teaser trailer showcased the iconic dreary sets from the original films alongside a brief chilling glimpse of the alien at the end.
“The suffocating silence of outer space pushes resolve beyond its limits, ” reads the video description.
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer action horror game where players are split between killers and survivors. Play as one of many iconic killers taken by the mysterious Entity and tasked with killing as many survivors as possible. Survivors must work together to stay alive and ultimately escape the domains of these vicious killers.
The xenomorph is a decent addition to Dead By Daylight’s growing roster of iconic horror movie killers alongside ones from A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, The Ring and more.
Alongside the hype for the announcement, fans are speculating what other surprises Behavior Interactive may have in store. Many see this as a great opportunity to introduce Ellen Ripley, main protagonist of the original Alien films, as another survivor. Previously, Dead By Daylight collaborated with horror actor Nicolas Cage, who plays himself as a new survivor.
