The Wolf Among Us: Episode 3 – A Crooked Mile Coming April 8th

The Wolf Among Us is a five-episode series from the creators of 2012 Game of the Year The Walking Dead.  Telltale Games announced the release date for The Wolf Among Us Episode 3: A Crooked Mile. It will be available on April 8th for North America on PC, Mac, and PS3 and will be available on April 9th for Europe on Xbox 360 and PS3. There will be an iOS release as well sometime next week.

The Wolf Among Us is an adventure game, based on the classic comic series “Fables,” by Bill Willingham. It is violent, mature and hard-boiled thriller where the characters and creatures of myth, lore and legend are real and exist in our world. Episode 1 was called Faith and Episode 2 was called Smoke and Mirrors. You follow the series as detective or sheriff of Fabletown Bigby Wolf, the big bad wolf in human form, who is in charge with protecting the immortal characters from one another, and from being discovered by the outside world. Fabletown, was given its name for the fairytale characters that live in it, in secret, in New York City.

The player can play Bigby however they like, even making him have a soft side, but knowing the whole time they make decisions, it will make the biggest consequences. Those choices and consequences will shape the experience the whole game during the actions of Bigby. When crimes like murder, prostitution, or torture takes place in the jurisdiction of Bigby, the sheriff is on the case, with Snow White, his trusty side kick by him.

Just from watching the trailer above, Episode 3 looks to be picking up after Episode 2: Smoke and Mirrors closing scene of finding out that Ichabod Crane may be behind the murders that happened in Fabletown and have left the residents in total shock. Bigby Wolf and Snow White’s investigation is becoming more and more complicated as they continue to be in pursuit of the murderer. You will also find new encounters of other characters like, Jack Horner, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum and the Woodsman, among others.
