The official White House account posted a video on X on September 3rd, 2026 announcing a new page on their website. It is as unexpected as anyone could have (not) guessed: an 8-bit style arcade equipped with “patriotic” takes on classic games.
The video released plays the iconic introduction to SEGA, replaced by MAGA, and even uses their music all throughout it.

There is a total of five copycat games available for the public to play: “Flappy Bill” which is actually Flappy Bird, “Build the Wall” which is Tetris, “Rio Run” a snake style game, “Supply Line” that is a sorting game, and “Trump Savings Tycoon” that is a click and collect style game.
“Flappy Bill”
As mentioned above and the uncreative title, is an exact copy of the mobile game Flappy Bird. The round yellow bird is replaced by a bald eagle clutching a bill within its talons, and the green pipes have been changed to monuments. When the eagle crashes, the end over screen reads “Grounded.”
“Build the Wall”
This is the White House’s version of Tetris, where the objective is to “stack bricks and hold the line” against a “siege” of zombies. In case the wordage used was not enough to convey their message, the creators made sure to include a sign that reads “Southern Boarder” on the side of the start screen. If the bricks get too high, the screen will display “boarder breached.” In this game there are three enemy types, one is clearly a zombie, but the other two questionably resemble aliens. Tetris even took to Instagram to release a statement about this, saying in part, “P.S. The Tetris Company was not involved in the creation of ‘Build the Wall’. P.P.S. We take copyright infringement very seriously.”
“Rio Run”
This snake style game is about maneuvering an older white man in a suit around an arena to “Patrol the line along the river, pick up every crosser in the lot.” By going over randomly spawning sprites, they begin to form a line behind the politician, each changing from their regular wear to orange jumpsuits and handcuffs. Something worth noting is that while there is some distinction between the characters, they are all darker than the man capturing them.
“Supply Line”
People who play this game get the opportunity to play as longtime friend of Trump, Mike Tyson. He is stationed in front of a conveyor belt where he is sorting through food items to give to school children. The rules here are: “Bare rides. Treated comes off.” Foods like vegetables are safe to pass on to the children, but seed oils, food coloring, and additives get “knocked off.” If too many unsafe food products get past, each piece will come out and give Tyson a hit to the face, leaving him bruised and bloody.
“Trump Savings Tycoon”
The premise of this game is to “fill your kids’ Trump accounts” by collecting flying money, diamonds, and debit cards with a net by clicking on them. There are exact and exaggerated amounts of money that is counted until too many are missed and the game ends. The score reads x amount of money “saved.” Along side this game is an empty, grayed out slot titled “Coming soon”.
As shocking as it may be, this is not the first time the White House has mixed video gaming in with their political agendas. Earlier this year, an edit was made mixing real life footage of Iran and Call of Duty, and not too many Americans were pleased about this decision either. It is said to be a tactic Trump is using to reach more people and purposely upset them.
Trump and his team are using video games as another channel to spread hate and bigotry, in turn, making light of all the harm being imposed upon minorities in an already challenging time. When questioned about the arcade, a White House representative told CNN, “this is an effort to further contrast between a culture of fun and winning and the dark socialist vision Democrats have for America.”
