Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead: 400 Days releases this week on PSN, PC, Mac, and Xbox Live, though for some reason each platform has a different launch day. Further complicating things, PSN Europe and iOS versions of the game don’t come out until next week.
North American PSN users can download 400 Days right flippin’ now! The rest of us shambling wretches will have to wait until Wednesday, July 3rd when it comes out on PC and Mac, or Friday, July 5th when it comes out on Xbox Live. European PSN users have to wait until Wednesday, July 10th to get their festering fix, and poor iOS users are last in line with a far-flung release date of Thursday, July 11th.
The Walking Dead: 400 Days is a bridge between season 1 and season 2 of Telltale’s zombie adventure game. Supposedly the choices you made in Season One will affect the characters in 400 Days, and the choices you make in 400 Days may affect your season 2 playthrough. For more details on what you’re getting into, check out the launch trailer.
400 Days focuses on five characters, each in a different scenario, whose stories intertwine. From the looks of the trailer you’ll be controlling characters as diverse as a convict on a prison bus, a lone traveler on the road, and a a woman living in a fortified gas station with a group of survivors. Sadly, there’s no sign of Clementine.
