The Tower of Beatrice Celebrates One-Year Anniversary With Worldwide Release For Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch

In 2018, The Tower of Beatrice, a point and click style puzzle-adventure game developed by Fairy Forest, made its PC gaming debut on the Steam Store. The game was rather well-received by its audience, even earning a 95% positive rating. Now, just over a year later, the title has returned to the spotlight with exciting news. Fairy Forest and publisher Sometimes You will be celebrating not one, not two, but three (technically four) console releases for The Tower of Beatrice. The game will launch for the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation (PS4 and Vita) later this month.

Players will take on the role of a thief who has taken on a contract with a mysterious client. Your assignment? Sneak into the dangerous tower of one of the most powerful sorcerers, Beatrice. The goal is to discover the sorceress’s Book of Recipes and steal it. The game has an “escape the room” vibe as players will need to solve a variety of puzzles in order to progress through all six floors of the tower. Along the way, players will meet some of the towers mystical residents including the demons of Fire, Frost, and Dream. Players will also learn alchemy skills and craft many surprising recipes. Start the Clock Tower, speak with a Granny-spider, serve tea to demons, and reconstruct a skeleton piece by piece, or rather bone by bone. Can you find the way out, alive?

If you have not yet, you can watch the 2018 official trailer for The Tower of Beatrice below.

The Tower of Beatrice will be available for console players at the end of the month, July 31, 2019.  Pre-orders are currently available. You can find more information on The Tower of Beatrice on its Steam page. Not sure about purchasing the game right away? Test out the short demo of the game first, available for Windows PC. You can download the preview through The Tower of Beatrice Steam page. You can also find the demo here on the project’s 2018 itch.io page, also for Windows PC. Enter the tower, if you dare.
