After months of waiting, the upcoming game, The Plucky Squire finally has a release date. Players will only have to wait till this September to get their hands on the game. The game’s developer shared the announcement in a new trailer on Thursday.
The Plucky Squire is an upcoming indie 3D and 2D action-adventure puzzle platformer developed by All Possible Futures and published by Developer Digital. Players take the role of a squire named Jot, as he is whisked out of his own storybook by the evil villain Humgrump, changing the story forever.
Players control Jot as he scavenges for items, fight enemies, and solve puzzles, all the while hopping from 2D and 3D worlds within the storybook. Will Jot be able to save his friends, defeat Humgrump once and for all, and restore the storybook’s original ending?
The Plucky Squire launches on September 17 for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Additionally, the game will be available on PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra and Premium members on release.
