Back when the PlayStation 5 launched, Sony announced the PlayStation Plus Collection for owners with an active PS Plus membership. This bundled a selection of some of the best PlayStation 4 games. This includes Batman: Arkham Knight, Battlefield 1, Bloodborne, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy, Days Gone, Detroit Become Human, Fallout 4, Final Fantasy 15, God of War, Infamous: Second Son, Monster Hunter: World, Mortal Kombat X, Persona 5, Ratchet & Clank, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, The Last Guardian, The Last Of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Until Dawn. It has been available since the PS5 launched three years ago but PlayStation has announced an update. The PlayStation Collection is set to be removed and will no longer be offered on May 9.
Over on the PlayStation Blog, they said: “We also wanted to provide an update on the PlayStation Plus Collection that has been offered as a benefit to PlayStation Plus members on PS5 since 2020. On May 9 the PlayStation Plus Collection will no longer be offered. If you haven’t redeemed the titles in this collection yet, you can still do so before May 9, which will enable you to access those titles even after this date for as long as you remain a PlayStation Plus member. ”
As PlayStation explained, if you haven’t redeemed any of the titles in the PlayStation Plus Collection, you can do so anytime before May 9. If you do, you will have access to them as long as you have an active PS Plus membership.
PlayStation added that they “will continue to add to our growing PlayStation Plus library of monthly games and games catalog, so be sure to check monthly for new titles to redeem.” The PlayStation Plus games for February have been revealed. PS Plus members can redeem Destiny 2: Beyond Light, Evil Dead: The Game, OliOliWorld, and Mafia: The Definitive Edition.
