The developers Giant Squid, the creators behind ABZU, and Annapurna Interactive, the creators behind 12 minutes and Solar Ash, have released their beautifully exciting adventure game, The Pathless. The Pathless was released worldwide on November 12th for the Apple Arcade. Players in The Pathless will play as the ninja looking Hunter as she strives to combat a being known as the God-slayer who has brought about a wicked darkness which has thrown the world into chaos. The God-slayer has gargantuan beasts at his command and the player will need to best them all if the world is ever truly to return to normal.
The Player will be able to explore a visually breathtaking world full of wonder and beauty. The color schemes that developers have used to design the game seem to clash together perfectly; showcasing the beauty of natures normality and the dark spiritual side of the game perfectly. Along with the landscape, players will be able to solve puzzles and battle corrupted spirits with the help of the Hunters pet eagle. With everything put forward into the game, players are in for hours of interesting and exciting gameplay designed to allow the player the best possible experience for a tale of adventure.
I am excited to see what the game has in store for players, and what surprises will catch the player off guard. I am optimistic that The Pathless will become a fan favorite game that will be played for years after its release.
