The New Zombie Apocolypse Game Area-Z is Open For Early Access

Area-Z, the new zombie apocalypse game, is now available worldwide for early access testing on Android devices only. There is currently no iOS version available for the early access period. No word has been given about the possibility of one either. However, upon the game’s official global launch, it will be available for both iOS and Android devices. The publishers and developers are called Rising Wing, a smaller studio under Krafton, the same makers of PUBG Mobile.

Area-Z takes place in the year 2031 in a war-torn New York City. A virus has been released that turns people into flesh-eating zombies. Over 80% of the world’s population is lost, and the players consist of what little survivors are left of the human race. In a world of chaos and violence, players must work together to stay alive. The early access version of the game will have only the first chapter, which begins with the search for a possible cure as well as a military endeavor against the never-ending stampede of evil zombies. There is still hope of returning order to the world and saving the infected from their monstrous state. For a better understanding of the art style and gameplay, check out the game’s trailer below.

There are three different modes to play in: survival, defense, and domination. Loot fallen enemies and collect the most powerful weapons. Different weapons will have different weight, reload time, attack damage, and much more. Some weapons are vastly different from others and will drastically affect the player’s combat style and effectiveness. The more you play, the more skill you gain, so there will be a great incentive for players to keep coming back. You can sign up for early access on the Google Play Store. Keep in mind that this game is still in development and may have a few bugs and other fixes that need to be worked out.
