Tonight, during The Game Awards, the preshow ended with an announcement of the remaster of the Persona 4 spinoff fighting game Persona 4 Arena. The new version titled Persona 4 Arena Ultimax follows the cast of Persona 4 as they enter into a new genre of game while the story picks up after the main game while seeing some characters from other entries in the series.
Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is set to release on PlayStation 4, PC via Steam, and Nintendo Switch on March 17, 2022. You can see the full announcement trailer for Persona 4 Arena Ultimax below:
