Embark studios exciting new multiplayer FPS, The Finals is getting a beta starting tomorrow with players rejoicing in the confirmation of cross play already implemented in the game. The beta will be playable for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC players. All of this news comes to us from Xbox’s partner preview that happened earlier today, a smaller event in which Microsoft showcased future titles coming to Xbox such as Alan Wake 2, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater Remake, and as mentioned The Finals, and many more. As reactions come pouring in, theres much excitement, not just for Xbox, but for The Finals.
But the focus right now is in The Finals. Players had a chance to play an earlier build of the game a couple months ago in march with people who had hands-on experience called the game very exciting. The announced beta is introducing new game modes and maps for the people who have already had a chance to play it, also announced that there will be a free battle pass in the beta in which the rewards will carry over to the games full release. The arena hyper active destruction team shooter has been in development for quite some time since Embark Studios founding back in 2018.
The game itself looks incredibly unique, as it seems to be blend of so many great features from other First person shooters currently on the market. There’s environmental destruction, rapid and adrenaline fused movement, gadgets such as gravity grenades and turrets, and many many more features. The main goal for players will be to collect cash and cash in before they’re eliminated It just feels like it has such an energetic soul, the commentators in the arena provide some much welcomed dark comedic relief as players, when they are eliminated, burst into piles of gold coins.
Players will be able to enter the virtual arenas to the roars of the crowd as they try to reach The Finals, starting in tomorrow’s beta.
