The Division 2 is a third-person shooter set seven months after the first game and the release of “Green Poison” in the world. Taking place in lawless Washington D.C., players can work together as a team of four to complete missions together. At the beginning of the game, players can customize their character and find weapons.
However, the new update, which is set to be released later this year, is supposedly bringing a lot of new experiences to players. While there is little information regarding this new game mode, the game’s developers are in the early stages of creating something unique for players. In their announcement, the team stated,
“We will be taking this time to make sure we bring a meaningful change to the game.”
Until the release of the new update, older seasons will be available again, allowing players to acquire weapons, items, and rewards that they may have missed previously. The team also posted to date statistics, showing off some accomplishments by players over the last four seasons. Finally, they also thanked players for expressing their gratitude for their support and dedication to the franchise.
