Wales Interactive, the developers behind Don’t Knock Twice VR and Time Carnage, have announced today that their Sci-Fi game “The Complex” will release to IOS and Android devices. This is good news for mobile gamers as the titled game was not originally released for mobile platforms earlier this year like the other platforms. Mobile gamers can expect the game to release on mobile December 3rd.
The Complex takes place after a major bio-weapon is released upon London. Two scientists find themselves in a locked-down laboratory with time and air running out. The Player will play as Dr. Amy Tenant, a healthcare worker who treated the victims of a chemical attack in the authoritarian state of Kindar, a leader in the advancement of Nano-cell Technology. Now in London, news breaks of a blood-vomiting civilian whose identity is recognized by the protagonist. Having reunited with an old friend, Amy is trapped in an secure set of laboratories—a district of scientific advancement with a dark secret. The Player must help Amy find a way out. Dr. Tenant’s actions and relationship statuses with other characters will lead her to one of eight thrilling and suspenseful endings, with choose-your-own-path gameplay.
The Complex is written by Lynn Renee Maxcy, who was apart of the award-winning writing team from “The Handmaid’s Tale.” The interactive Sci-Fi game will star Michelle Mylett, Kate Dickie, Al Weaver, and Leah Viathan. With such a terrific set of individuals taking part in the story, there is no doubt the player will be on the edge of their seat.
