The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters is a sequel to The Coma: Recut and is expected to leave Steam’s early access on January 28th. The game received many updates including bug fixes to art assets and a new storyline. The horror-survival game, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters focuses on Mina Park as she flees outside her school which was the setting for The Coma: Recut. Mina Park is attempted to elude a person or monster that is described as being similar to her teacher. It should be expected that Mina will have to brave new and unfamiliar dangers as she runs away and explores the district of Sehwa.
The Korean developer Devespresso Games offered some details on what to expect while playing the game. Players will need to solve complex puzzles while avoiding the ever-encroaching stalker dubbed “Dark Song.” Stealth will be a large factor for Mina’s survival since Dark Song will kill her if she is caught in its grasp. Running and utilizing the flashlight too much will make Mina a very easy target. Also, Mina could suffer injuries that will leave her permanently debilitated for the rest of the playthrough. Players will need to craft items in anticipation of what lies ahead to be able to avoid the injuries.
The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters boasts having colorful hand-illustrated artwork that takes inspiration from comic strips and a brand new AI to make Dark Song a more dangerous and unpredictable threat to Mina. Gematsu claims that Early Access buyers will receive a free “Survival Guide / Art Book” and a copy of the original soundtrack at the full release of The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters. Gematsu also claims that it is planned for The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters to come to consoles eventually but an expected date is yet to be announced.
