Telltale Games recently unveiled the trailer for the second episode of their Guardians of the Galaxy game. The trailer comes after the announcement a little over a week ago that the new episode will premiere on June 6 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Android devices and iOS devices.

Continuing the trend set by the first episode, the second episode is also named after a classic rock song, with the new episode being called “Under Pressure,” the same title as the 1982 song by Queen and David Bowie. It also looks like there will be more of a focus on Rocket this episode as all promotional material for the episode contains the line, “Get a glimpse into Rocket Raccoon’s origins in the next episode of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series,” or some variation of it.
The rest of this article contains SPOILERS for episode one of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Early on in the trailer, we see that Star-Lord is magically saved from what appeared in the first episode to be certain death by the Guardians’ newly acquired Relic. Though this could technically be seen as a spoiler for episode two, it probably should have been expected. After all, there can’t really be a Guardians of the Galaxy game where Star-Lord is dead for 4/5 of it. It also appears that Yondu and Nebula will play bigger roles in the second episode than in the first. Lastly, as mentioned earlier, it looks like we’ll learn more about Rocket’s backstory. This includes the introduction of a new character, Lila, a cybernetically enhanced river otter who was likely tested on the same ways that Rocket was. You can watch the trailer below.
