Telltale Games has just revealed the release date for the second episode of Batman A Telltale Series. The second episode, titled Children of Arkham, will make its debut at a Crowd Play event at PAX West 2016. According to Gamespot, the full release of Children of Arkham will arrive on September 20 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on September 20th. Telltale also sent out the following tweet:

For the uninitiated, the previous episode saw Bruce Wayne supporting Harvey Dent’s campaign for mayor. When the good name of the Wayne family is sullied with accusations of ties to organized crime, Bruce must restore the family legacy by bringing mob boss Carmine Falcone to justice. Episode 1 – A realm of Shadows concluded with Falcone accusing the Waynes of being the biggest gangsters of Gotham. When Bruce spots a picture of his parents with Falcone, he immediately confronts Alfred. The “next time” teaser heavily implies that there’s more to the story than meets the eye.
We previously reported the Crowd Play event at PAX West 2016 where attendees of the Wyvern Theatre at the Westin would be able to use their smartphones to have a say in what happens in the Batman Episode 1. At the end of the Crowd Play, fans will be able to get a sneak peak of the following episode, Children of Arkham.
Also previously documented by us was how Telltale’s Batman Episode 1 was criticized for its numerous graphical and performance issues. The Steam Store page, was filled with mixed reviews and many “Not Recommended” scores. Telltale later added a patch to address these issues.
In addition to Batman A Telltale Series, Telltale is also continuing their Walking Dead series with a third season. It’s likely that Batman and The Walking Dead will keep fans satiated for the following months to come.
