Telltale Employee Teases New Information for The Walking Dead: A New Frontier

Recently, Job J Stauffer, the Head of Creative Communications at Telltale Games, posted via his Twitter that new information about The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is on its way.

Last month, during Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything), Telltale employees stated that they plan to have the fourth episode of A New Frontier out in April. Since episodes of Telltale’s games traditionally come out on Tuesdays, and there is only one Tuesday left in April, many fans speculate that the new episode will come out on April 25th. If this is indeed the case, then it would be safe to assume that the “news this week” Stauffer mentions is the announcement and trailer for the new episode.

Though it is unusual for an episode to come out so soon after its announcement, the reasoning could be that Telltale has been using all its resources promoting their new Guardians of the Galaxy game, which comes out today (April 18). Now that Guardians of the Galaxy is out, Telltale can shift its focus back to The Walking Dead.

Of course, much of this is fan speculation, so it is entirely possible that the next Walking Dead episode isn’t coming out on the 25th, but rather some time in May. What we do know for sure, however, is that new information is coming this week and the episode will be out soon.
