Today, developer Bandai Namco Studios Inc. and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment have released a gameplay trailer for the newly addition to the roster Fahkumram to Tekken 8, a fighting game. Fahkumram will be available for players to play as on July 7th for those who purchase the Season 2 pass, and available for the rest of the players on July 10th. According to an article from DualShockers, there will be server downtime around 6:30 PDT before the patch download becomes available. Once the game comes back online, players will only be able to play offline modes which will give players time to train in playing Fahkumram. For other players who are interested in Tekken 8, the game is available on PC through Steam, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox Series X/S.
The gameplay trailer shows Fahkumram, a returning character from Tekken 7, enter the fight and the trailer also shows different combos and abilities he will have in the game for players to create fighting techniques with. He fights against three different fighters throughout the trailer and the combos become more and more intense as the trailer continues on, showing off more of his abilities.
At the very end of the trailer, they preview Fahkumram’s four new cosmetic skins as well as the Season 2 character and Stage Pass, but the rest of what is to come in Season 2 will be announced later in the fall and winter according to the trailer.
According to a new post on the Steam page, there will also be balance adjustments, Ghost Showdowns, a Karate Kid Legends collaboration, and PAC-MAN stage and items will be added into the game. According to another article made by EventHubs, Bandai Namco have also revealed that Armor King, another returning character from Tekken 7, will be the next DLC character that will be released later in the fall after Fahkumram.
